Do I need to visit the police station for tenant verification?

An online rent agreement can be completed in as little as 1–2 hours. Simply fill in the details, complete e-stamping, and sign digitally using your Aadhaar OTP — no need to visit any office. If you choose doorstep stamp paper delivery with physical signatures, it may take 1–2 days depending on your location.

For creating a rent agreement, all parties involved must provide a valid Aadhaar Card with address proof and a PAN Card. Additionally, for ownership verification, the landlord is required to submit any one of the following documents: latest electricity bill, municipal corporation tax receipt, or the property’s Index II document. A notarized agreement is simply attested by a notary and is generally not considered legally strong in case of disputes.
